Bonners Ferry's Leisure just became Playtime.
We're the newest sports program in town, offering tennis and pickleball for all ages, serving Boundary County and the Idaho panhandle.
what makes us different?
20 years as a high level tennis player and professional coach for all ages & skill levels
Small groups of no more than six provide adequate supervision, along with a modern game-based format where the student is always engaged in action.
We play to win, yet we're humble in victory and respectful in defeat. We train our minds to enjoy the moment and not get hung up on the past or the future.
We address core issues rather than symptoms. Sound technique is the product of core stability and the repetition of precise movements.

about the coach
Hi, I'm Coach Kieran. I've been married to my wife, Allie, for four and a half years, and we have two children. We attend Grace Bible Fellowship in Bonners Ferry, ID and enjoy making soap, cooking, and spending time together as a family.
I have almost 20 years of tennis coaching experience, two years as a head tennis club professional, and four years as a private tournament coach to nationally ranked athletes. I've also coached in other capacities, such as country clubs, summer camps, and tennis academies.

Panhandle & Play aims to create the tools for a robust tennis and pickleball community in Boundary County.
Our program is designed with the student in mind. After being involved in dozens of programs in America and abroad, I know what does and doesn't work.
Everything from the user experience in scheduling, age/skill appropriate equipment, and the cutting edge coaching philosophy has you, the student, in mind.
The Coaching Difference
- Small groups of no more than six
- Game-based approach (no waiting in lines during lessons)
- Deep systems approach to technique (we get to the root of the problem and solve it)
- Equipment tailored to each individual age and skill level
- Real life lessons (Not "everyone gets a trophy")
- User friendly booking/scheduling interface
Find the best tennis or pickleball program for you.
Take tennis and pickleball lessons with Panhandle & Play. The spring term kicks off April 19th. No racquet or paddle ever required.
Kieran is a phenomenal tennis coach who not only understands the game, technique, and strategy to make you a better tennis player, but also applies the lessons learned on the court to the bigger picture of life, making you a better person. Kieran was my primary tennis coach for many years, who gave me the skills to play competitive junior tournaments and eventually varsity college tennis at the nationally top ranked D3 MIT. I recommend Kieran as a coach to anyone looking to improve their game, play for fun or competitively, or wants to get started with tennis.
